John Shimmin is the new Policy and Reform Minister, taking on the role Chris Robertshaw quit today, with immediate effect. His return to the Council of Ministers comes eight months after he was forced to resign over the Sefton Group affair. Treasury Minister Eddie Teare made today's announcement, saying Mr Shimmin's appointment has the full support of Chief Minister Allan Bell who is absent through illness.
