Description

Our client seeks a Finance Manager to join their team. Role Profile: You will assure that all financial dealings of the UK entity are compliant with the Group’s accounting principles. Maintain a close relationship with the Group’s Senior Management, all strategic departments as well as any external providers such as auditors. The Finance Manager oversees all operational aspects of the European entities. Key Responsibilities: Formulate and manage all company accounts and all financial statements (P&L, B/S and cash flow) for the UK and Isle of Man companies. Prepare and submit all reporting to the Head of Europe division. Maintenance of compliance such as VAT filing, National Statistics etc. Manage and implement internal and regulatory policies. Manage all financial operations of the UK and Isle of Man companies. Participate in the Group’s investment businesses and capital operation management in Europe. Assist the Head of Europe and group CEO in the management and business operations of UK and Isle of Man companies. Formulate the internal financial processes of the European companies, accounting standards, and the output of various financial statements. Manage financial docking with the offices in Asia Pacific and the intercommunication, ensuring that all branches share an identical set of financial report. Internal control, reimbursement approval, financial budgeting, etc. For several European companies. Manage relationships with all internal and external stakeholders such as external auditors Build the revenue and cash reconciliation process and procedures for the online poker product which is regulated by Isle of Man gambling commission Key Skills Experience: ACCA/CIMA/ACA certified. 3-5 years of in-house financial experience. BA/BSC and/or MSC Finance. Must be fluent in Chinese/Mandarin. Sound knowledge of UK and EU tax regulations, accounting and financial rules, banking systems, etc. Experience of management of company funds in excess of pound £5 million. Previous experience working with small-to-medium size companies on building the reconciliation process is highly preferred.
