Police have confirmed that the motorcyclist killed in a traffic collision during TT week was 53 year old local man Gary Stewart Hubble.

Witnesses are still being sought to the incident, which occurred in Lezayre on Tuesday June 3.

Detective Sergeant Neil Craig said: 'Mr Hubble had been riding his blue Yamaha motorbike in a direction from Ramsey towards Sulby when he collided with another vehicle around 10.20am. Following this collision, officers from the police’s Collision Investigation Unit immediately attended the scene together with colleagues from the other emergency services. A number of enquiries have been undertaken since the time of the collision, including statements having been obtained from witnesses who were identified at the scene.

'However, I still wish to appeal to any person who was at or near the location at the time of the collision, and who may have information that could assist us with our enquiries, to contact either Constable Richard Goldie from the Roads Policing Unit, or myself, as soon as possible at Police Headquarters on 631212.'
