Updated at 8am - Today will be generally dry and bright with some sunshine at times, although an isolated passing shower is still possible. Highest temperature around 5 Celsius, but feeling colder in the freshening westerly wind. Dry this evening and tonight with clear intervals and becoming less breezy. Minimum temperatures generally around 2°C, but freezing again over higher ground.

Saturday

A chilly start but it should hold mostly dry although often cloudy, with just a light to moderate west to northwest breeze and highs of 6°C.

Sunday

Rain will then spread across the island during the early hours of the morning, becoming persistent and often heavy as the wind backs to the south or southeast and becomes strong. The rain will turn light and patchy into the afternoon before clearing by evening as the wind becomes westerly and eases slightly. Top temperature around 10°C.

Monday

Rather cloudy but generally dry with a moderate to fresh west to southwest wind, then the threat of some rain for a time overnight. Temperatures reaching up to 8°C at best.

Tuesday

Dry at first with some brightness, but quickly turning cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing later in the day, A fresh to strong south to southwest wind and maximum temperature of 9 or 10°C.
