At 10am on Monday 15th May Gloria Rukeyser, Hall Caine's great granddaughter, has kindly agreed to visit UCM's Hall Caine Library and officially launch her great Grandfather's collection. The Principal would like to invite you to the event.
The Hall Caine Collection consists of copies of his novels, including a number of 1st editions and numerous books around 100 years old. The oldest book in the collection being 124 years old. There are also books about Hall Caine’s life including his political career. The Hall Caine Collection will form a special selection of books within the library’s existing Manx collection. UCM’s Hall Caine Library is an academic library accessible to all and annual library subscriptions are available to the general public.
