Singer Ian McCulloch and the group have created critically acclaimed albums spanning four decades, with hits such as ‘The Cutter’, ‘Rescue’, ‘Bring on the Dancing Horses’, ‘Seven Seas’ and ‘The Killing Moon’. Echo and the Bunnymen had a run of albums and singles that secured their place as one of the greatest UK bands of the postpunk era.

David Cretney MLC, the Department of Economic Development’s Political Member responsible for Tourism and the Villa Marina/Gaiety Theatre complex commented:

‘We are delighted that Echo and the Bunnymen will be coming to the Isle of Man to join the line-up of classic acts like James and Heaven 17 who are playing at the Villa this summer. The ‘Bunnymen’ performed a sell-out tour of North America last year and also appeared on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ so this promises to be another great gig at the Villa.’
