Community service celebrated

Sixty-five awards were given out for oustanding community service at an event at the Villa Marina yesterday (April 21).
The Chief Constable's Annual Awards Ceremony saw police officers, support staff and members of the public recognised for their hard work over the last year.
His Excellency Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood was guest of honour and presented awards for a number of achievements from investigative excellence to saving a life.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts says the event is a great opportunity to celebrate the Island's fantastic community:
