Police are thanking the public for their help after a man was found unconscious in Ramsey at the weekend.

The man was discovered outside Ramsey Town Hall on Saturday and was taken to Nobles Hospital in a serious condition after suffering head injuries during a fall.

Officers say they’re identified a man outside a nearby chip shop and they describe the response from the public following an initial appeal as ‘very positive'.

They say although their investigations suggests no criminal act has been committed, anybody who saw what happened on Saturday can get in touch on 812234.
