Christmas bonus for Manx Telecom prize winners

by isleofman.com 20th December 2013

Christmas came a little early for the winners of Manx Telecom competitions who collected some fantastic prizes from the company’s Strand Street store. Ian England, from Douglas, won an iPhone 5s – Apple’s latest version of its iconic smartphone and Manx Telecom’s current best-selling handset. Helen Shand, from Ramsey, won tickets to a choice of West End theatre shows including We Will Rock You, Billy Elliot, Jersey Boys, or Woman in Black. The prize includes a meal for two at a central London restaurant within walking distance of the theatre to complete a great night out. Helen’s prize was collected by her daughter Ashlee. Steph Christian, from Douglas, and James McGowan, from Peel, each won two pairs of tickets to see the Robin Hood and The Babes In The Wood pantomime at the Gaiety Theatre.

All of the competitions were featured in Manx Telecom’s ‘In Touch’ community magazine published in November – but there are more prizes up for grabs in the last few days before Christmas in a series of festive Manx Telecom competitions. There’s still time to enter the ‘cheesiest Christmas jumper’ competition to be in with a chance of winning an iPhone 5c. All you have to do is load up your cringeworthy Christmas jumper photos (or equally cheesy pics of decorations at home or work) to Instagram and tag your photos with #mtcomehome before Christmas Eve. All entries will go into a prize draw. An advent calendar-themed prize draw is also running up until Christmas Eve. You just need to like and share a post on the Manx Telecom Facebook page to enter and to be in with a chance of winning the daily prize which include hammerproof screen protectors for iPad, iPhone, and Samsung Galaxy S4 and AJAYS smartphone headphones. For more information on all of Manx Telecom’s Christmas promotions go to www.manxtelecom.com/christmas.
