The Island’s newspaper deliveries have been delayed again today because of poor weather.
The papers were due to travel on last night’s Ben-my-Chree sailing, but it was cancelled in the face of severe gales in the Irish Sea.
A backup plan should have seen them delivered by plane this morning, but the aircraft has suffered ongoing technical problems.
Distributor GE White says they should now be in shops at around 3pm.
