TT hero's leathers could fetch ?20,000

You could own the leathers Joey Dunlop wore when he won the 1998 Lightweight TT when they go under the hammer next month.

The outfit which Yer Maun wore as he won his 23rd TT looks set to fetch up to ?20,000 when it goes up for auction.

The Arai helmet with the TT hero’s yellow and black design, black Manx leathers, Kevlar gauntlets and blue, grey and black boots feature on the statue of Joey Dunlop at 'The Bungalow' on the Mountain.

The sale, held by Graham Budd Auctions at Sotheby's in London, takes place on Monday, November 4.
