Renal patients welcome new facility in north

The Island's new renal unit has been officially opened at Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
The facility has been made possible in large part by a ?250,000 donation from the Eric and Marion Scott Trust.

At a ceremony on Friday afternoon (23 August) the trust's Ken Devaney unveiled a plaque in front of representatives from the Department of Health, hospital staff and fellow trustees.

Patient and Ramsey resident Libby Guthrie was receiving treatment while the party took a look at the unit afterwards.

She told Manx Radio it has made a huge difference to her life:Clip 1
