Shorter free parking time at Isle of Man airport

by isleofman.com 23rd August 2013
A new car parking order at Isle of Man airport came into effect this morning (Fri 23rd)
It means only the first 30 minutes parking will be free at the airport - half the previous time allowed.
The change has been introduced following a lengthy consideration of public comment, after an original proposal suggested charging for the first hour.
Infrastructure Minister David Cretney says he believes the free half hour takes note of the comments made.
He adds that a conveniently placed disc zone within the short stay car park has also been re-instated for genuine short-term users, which will allow meeters and greeters or those with mobility issues to park near the terminal, collect passengers and leave within the 30 minute window.
