Civil ceremonies for Douglas Town Hall

Civil ceremonies can now be held in the capital's town hall.
Douglas Council recently received approval to hold civil marriages and the formation of civil partnerships at its Ridgeway Street premises.
The chief registrar has granted the local authority a three-year "Approved Place" status.
The council are charging ?250 plus the cost of hiring the room to put on a ceremony.
