Public thanked for boosting St John Ambulance coffers

The public is being thanked for boosting the work of the Island’s leading life-saving charity, St John Ambulance, by contributing to its flag day collections.
 
Collections in several towns and villages during 2013 have boosted the charity’s funds by ?3,868.68.
 
The money will go towards the vital work St John Ambulance carries out running community first aid courses and providing cover at events all over the Island.
