Junior Chamber of Commerce dining with a difference

by isleofman.com 22nd August 2013

The Junior Chamber of Commerce Isle of Man is excited to invite guests to enjoy a steam train journey with a difference!

Whilst travelling to Santon, JCC members and guests will be served appetizers and drinks from the newly established dining car, the only one of its type running on a narrow gauge railway.

Following some wonderful Manx views, and hopefully accompanying weather, one lucky guest will become the Fireman/woman on the engine for the return journey! Upon arriving back at Douglas station, the group will enjoy a BBQ, salads and desserts provided by The Tickethall chef Steve Quirk and his team.

JCC Chairman Chris Darnill commented: “This is a great opportunity to enjoy a unique journey on the Isle of Man Steam Railway Dining Car which will serve both scheduled services and be available for private hire. The event is open to everyone, so come and relax, take in the beautiful Manx countryside and make new contacts from the Island’s business community”.

To find out more or book your place, visit the JCC IOM website www.jcc.im or visit their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/jcciom or join the JCC IOM LinkedIn group.

Entry: ?15 each for JCC IOM members, ?30 each for guests, including alcoholic/soft drinks and appetizers on board the steam train, followed by BBQ, salads, drinks and desserts upon return to The Tickethall.
