The Isle of Man's largest software development company, PDMS is expanding into Scotland and says it will create 20 jobs there over the next four years.
The news has been welcomed by Chief Minister Allan Bell who said the ICT sector was a key driver in the continued success of the Manx economy.
Speaking at an event yesterday evening to celebrate the official launch of the company's new Glasgow office, Mr Bell said: 'PDMS has been a valued partner of the Isle of Man Government for many years and it is encouraging to see a Manx company expanding into new markets.'
The Chief Minister, pictured here with Scotland's Minister for Youth Employment Angela Constance and managing director of PDMS Chris Gledhill, was in Glasgow to mark the restoration of direct flights between the Isle of Man and Scotland - see our reports of his visit on MTTV.
