On Monday 23rd July 2012, at 7pm for 7.30pm, Mrs Claire Bader will give a presentation entitled ”Moving Food: The Challenges of Food Aid”.
The talk will be at the first floor of the Pavilion, Nobles Park, Douglas. Refreshments will be served.
Claire Bader has spent extensive periods overseas on humanitarian work in the fields of food, nutrition and health. These include two years in Mozambique with the United Nations World Food Programme, as well as with the Oxfam food distribution programmes in Malawi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Claire now lives in Onchan; she is a member of the Tynwald Overseas Aid Committee, and a Trustee of the One World Centre.
