The first draw for the new Hospice Isle of Man lottery has taken place. 219 plays were entered into the lottery with nearly 50 staff members from Hospice supporting this new initiative.
First prize was won by Mrs Simpson, second prize by a Mr Looney and 3rd prize by Mrs Killey.
Margaret Simpson said “this is an historical moment for Hospice, all profits will be re-invested back into Hospice and I would like to thank everyone that took part in our first lottery. “As Chief Executive I feel it is important to support all our fundraising efforts and I am delighted that many staff, volunteers and supporters bought a ticket.”
“I would encourage everyone to get involved in supporting this great initiative – remembering if you are not in, you can’t win!” “The more people that take part, the bigger the prize pot will be”.
