by Susan Ferns

Queen Elizabeth II High School is delighted to announce that the BBC are filming at the School today and tomorrow for their Newsround programme.

They are filming on environmental issues for a special programme as it is the 25 year anniversary of the United Nations Montreal Protocol. Students were awarded the first ever International Award run by the Ozone Action branch of the United Nations Environment Programme in co-operation with Volvo Adventure.

Nick Clegg, Deputy Prime Minister will be involved in the programme and would like to endorse the work of our students. Phil Gawne, our local Environment Minister, will also be interviewed for the programme.
