Volunteer Peel crewman Juan Owens and Zurich Financial Services have boosted the RNLI SOS fund with the presentation of a cheque for £1100.08.
Juan donned his RNLI kit to collect in Zurich office on SOS Day (29 January) and collected £550, this was then doubled by Zurich from its staff charity fund. Chris Holland and Voirrey Keggin trustees of the fund joined Juan before a training launch on Sunday morning to present the cheque to second coxswain John Hunter.
